Lion

I started this lion a while ago and just didn't have the time to finish him. Well, I finally made the time to finish this piece. Lions are so beautiful and majestic. I hope I caught a little bit of that beauty here. I love big cats and hope to do some more of them in the future.

Horses In The Snow

Well the snow is still falling here. We had record amounts of snow this year. I thought I would do another winter scene and I couldn't resist these horses in the snow. These guys don't seem to mind the snow as much as I do.

Funny German Shepherd Art Drawing

I couldn't resist drawing this funny German Shepherd with the silliest pose ... I also added the bee on his nose just for fun. This was done in colored pencil with a touch of acrylics.

New Horse Art Drawing

I have been busy doing other things and have not done much art work lately. It has been too long since I last posted anything but am in the mood to draw again. I thought this guy would be fun to do although horses are always a challenge to me.The pose he is giving with his erect ears made him interesting to me. This is done in colored pencils on toned sketch paper.

Seagulls and Colorful Sky Painting

My niece was kind enough to let me paint a picture she took of a beautiful morning sky in North Carolina. I didn't do this awesome sky any justice but this is what I got out of it.
