CLICK ON IMAGES TO VIEW LARGERHere is the updated piece, I surprised myself going back to this one and retouching it. You can see the changes from the photo below. Of course my daughter is the inspiration behind this painting, I over exaggerated her hair length and features to give it a more mystic feel.

This is the layout for my next piece. I am not sure yet if I will do this in acrylics or pastel. I am leaning more on pastel/colored pencil. Of course this is of my dogs while they were playing with a rope, I didn't get a picture but I did remember in my head how cute they looked so I had to draw them.

This is a 9" x 12" acrylic painting on canvas board. I have been pretty busy and haven't done much to it in a while so I figured I would post it until I get a chance to work some more on it. The colors look flat, but usually once I stop and lose interest with a painting I never go back to it, so it might have to do.
